Die Postgeschichte ist eine Disziplin, die nur eine bescheidene Randposition in der Heimatforschung einnimmt. Mit diesen Seiten sollen den interessierten Philatelisten und Heimatforschern Informationen über die Regionalgeschichte von Schaumburg-Lippe und der hessischen Grafschaft Schaumburg aus postgeschichtlicher Sicht gegeben werden. Einen wissenschaftlichen Anspruch hat diese Ausarbeitung nicht.
Bei positiver Resonanz werden weitere Artikel ins Netz gestellt. Belege des 3. Reichs dienen auf meine Web_Seite nur für die historisch-wissenschaftliche Einordnung und sie sind in keiner Weise propagandistisch, insbesondere im Sinne des § 86a StGB benutzt.

The postal history is a discipline that occupiers only a modest fringe position in local history. These pages are intended to offer information on regional history to interested historians and philatelists.
The purpose of this website is to show the (postal) history of the Principality of Schaumburg-Lippe and the Hessian County Schaumburg in serveral exhibits and articles. In the main part we will see the development of the history of communication beginning with regional mail for the time period of 1648 (foundation of the Principality of Schaumburg-Lippe and the Hessian County Schaumburg) to 1918 until the end of the German Imperial Post (Deutsche Kaiserliche Post) system (abdication of the emperor).
